The constant use of the air conditioner will start as the temperatures raises.
During June until August, due to the raise in the temperatures, the use of the air conditioner will be more frequent and more constant. In this season the requests for maintenance and repairs for the air conditioner increases and the time to wait after a request will also be longer.
Please, test your air conditioner to check for any malfunction and be able to solve the problem before the hot season starts.
If you find any problem, please check the instructions for common issues that are usually mistaken as a malfunction below:
▼The air conditioner is not working well:
●Check if the air conditioner are not clogged with dust.
If you do not clean the filters of the air conditioner periodically, the dust that builds up may start to clog the air ways causing it to not function properly, malfunction or to leak water.
●The air coming from the air conditioner is not cold.
When it is too hot outside, the unit may not be able to cool enough on the set temperature.
Check if the controller is on "Cold air"『冷房』, set the temperature to『18℃』 and check if it made the beeping sound. Check again after a while if the air being blown by the unit is actually cold.
▼The air conditioner turns off after a while:
●Check if the air conditioner is set to turn off automatically (turning off after 3 hours).
Some air conditioners have a setting that will turn it off automatically after 3 hours of use. Turn the air conditioner on again to continue using.

▼The air conditioner does not turn on:
Check if all the switches on the breaker are set to ON(入).
If it does not solve, also try to unplug the air conditioner power cord and plug back after some minutes.
●Check if it is possible to turn it on with the manual button on the unit.
If the air conditioner is turning on normally with the button on the unit, the problem may be with the remote controller.
●Try changing the batteries of the controller.
The remote controller may be out of batteries. Try changing them and doing the reset procedure.
●Is the remote controller setting working properly.
After changing the batteries of the controller, you may need to reset the controller or set the maker code for it to start working again.
▼The lamps on the air conditioner are blinking:
●Check if the front cover and the air flaps properly installed and attached to the correct position.
If the front cover and the flaps are not set in the proper position, the air conditioner lights will start to blink and it will not turn on. Try detaching and reattaching the removable parts, specially if it started to have the problem after you cleaned the air conditioner.
▼The cold air have a strong smell:
●Check if the air conditioner filters are clean.
If you haven't used the air conditioner or the set function (i.e. cold air) for a while, the first time you are using may give a strong smell, but will stop after some time using (open the windows/run the exhauster with the air conditioner on for a while).
The cause can also be the dust that has build up on the filters. Remember to remove and clean the filters periodically.
▼There is water leaking from the air conditioner unit:
●The air conditioner's drain hose or the drain ducts may be clogged.
If the filters are not frequently cleaned, the air conditioner may start to malfunction, give a bad smell and the drain hose/drain ducts may clog with dust causing it to start to leaking water. Please, clean the filters at least twice a month or more depending on the use.

※During peak season the summer between July and August, the air conditioner companies will take several days or weeks to be able to visit the room. We ask for your understanding.
※Regarding the repair and maintenance charges:
When the cause of the malfunction is not tenant (such as accidentally breaking, misusing or the lack of maintenance/cleaning the appliance), the tenant will not be charged for the repairs.
