● Check if there is cold air coming from the vents.
If the temperature is already too high, depending on the setting, the air-conditioner will not be able to cool the room properly.
On the remote control set the function to "Cold" and "28 °C" pointing to the unit to turn it on. After a while the cold will start to blow, put your hands close to the air vents and check if the air-conditioner blowing the cold air.
▼ The air conditioner stops by itself:
● Check if the timer (stop after 3 hours) is turning off the air-conditioner.
If your air-conditioner is set with a timer (to stop every 3 hours), it will turn off automatically after 3 hours being on. Turn it on again if it you wish to continue using.

▼ The air conditioner does not turn on:
Please, check if the breaker switches are all ON (入).
You also can try unplugging the air conditioner power cord for a moment and plugging back again.
● Check if it turns on with the manual button on the unit.
If the air conditioner turns on by long pressing the manual button on the front (or inside the cover), the problem may be with the remote controller instead.
● Check if the batteries of the controller still have charge.
Please, remove the batteries from the remote control and replace them with new ones.
● Check if the manufacturer code on the remote control is the correct one.
If you have a universal controller, you need to set it with the code of the brand of the air-conditioner for it to work. Sometimes you have to configurate it again if it resets (i.e. the batteries run out).
For original controllers from the same brand of the air conditioner, you may need to press the reset button (リセット) after changing the batteries.
▼ The air conditioner Power (運転) light is blinking.
● Check if the air conditioner cover and the flaps properly installed.
If the cover is not fitted properly or the flaps are misplaced and not opening/closing properly the air-conditioner may not start. This often happens after cleaning the air conditioner.
▼ There is an odd smell coming from the air conditioner.
● Check if there is dust on the filters.
If the air conditioner or a function (hot air/cold air/dry air) is not being used for a long time, the air-conditioner may blow an odd smell at the beginning.
The smell can also be caused by the dust collected by the filters. Try cleaning the filters periodically by removing it and washing it with the bathroom shower, sink, etc.. Let it dry before placing it bank.
▼ Water is leaking from the indoor unit of the air conditioner.
● A clog in the draining pipe or the draining system of the air conditioner may be causing the leak.
Not cleaning the filters may let dust get inside the air conditioner drain system or drain pipe causing it to clog, due to the dust building up. When clogged the water may start to leak and bad smell to build up.
