Guidance for moving out (Corporate contract)
This is a guide with instruction on how to proceed after the application for the move out. Note: Those who have not applied for the move out yet, please check here.

Confirmation and procedures until the move out date
Address transfer/cancellation of the Insurance under the tenant name.
If a tenant has an insurance contract under their name, apply for the address transfer/cancellation, of the insurance of the room.
Cancelation of utility companies services.
Contact electricity and gas companies and water supply at least 5 days before moving out. ※ If the water fee is included in the rent, no procedures are required for the water. ※ If you have changed amperage of the room, please restore it before moving out.
Cancellation of Telephone/other Internet services.
Please transfer or suspend telephone, internet, etc... line and services. ※ The LEONET contract is cancelled along the contract of the room.
Mail relocation/forwarding service (Japan Post).
Please, apply for the relocation/forwarding service to redirect the postal items from the former address to a new address.
You can submit the form online or at the nearest post office.
Please, bring your identification card such as driver's license, passport, individual number card, residence card etc. to check the former address.
▶ Don't forget to change the address of online subscriptions and online shopping ⇒ You may have problems, such as package delivers or documents being sent to the previous address instead of the new address after you move out.
Cancellation of the parking lot contract under the tenant name.
If the tenant using the room has the contract of the parking space under its name, a procedure to end this contract must be requested separately.
Print and file the information on the Request to End the Parking Lot contract and mail or bring it to the nearest LeoPalace branch.
※If you cannot print the contract cancelation request form, write down the same contents on the document and fill the details instead.
※For mail, the date sent and stamped by the post office will be considered the application date.
The contract of the parking lot ends by the last day of the following month.
※You can also request the contract to end on the last day of 2 months after the application.
Example: If the application was made by March 10.
The contract of the parking will end by April 30. Note that the rental fee for the parking will not be calculate by days but for the whole month.
If both the contract of the room and of the parking lot are under the same name and you only wish to cancel the parking lot contract, a separate procedure will be needed. Please contact the nearest Leopalace Center.
If you wish to cancel both contracts, no additional procedure will be needed as the parking lot will end along the contract with the room automatically when it is bound together.
※ If the name of contractor of the parking lot is different from the contractor of the room, or if the contracts are from different types of rental plans, you will need to end the contract separately.
※If it will be difficult to return the keys at the branch, please use the [Return Procedure] described below to return the keys by positing it at the front door letter frame opening.
【 Return Procedure 】
① Be sure there are none of your belongings left inside the room. ② After leaving the room, lock the door. ③ After locking the door, post all the room keys (copies not needed) and security IC sticks that you received at the start of the contract inside the room, through the letter frame in the front door.
※If an IC Stick type security device is installed in the room, return all the IC Stick received.
※If a key is lost or not returned, the customers who are not subscribed to the Support Service will be charged 1,320¥ per key (tax included).
If the security key IC stick is lost or not returned, you will be charged 880¥ (tax included) per IC Stick even if subscribed to the Support Service or not.
Confirmation and procedures after moving out
※ After confirming the move out fee, the statement will be sent to the company by mail(or WEB).
About restoration fee
Repair costs may be incurred in addition to the basic cleaning fee for damage caused by the customer's intention and negligence, or due to use that is not considered as standard use.
・Accidently hit the furniture and broke the sash glass
・Spilled a drink on the floor and it became a stain (mold) due to lack of care.
The remaining LEONET points can not be refunded when the room contract is canceled. It also cannot be used to discounted from the final fees (cleaning fee etc..). Please, use your LEONET points before moving out if you are not moving to an apartment that is not managed by LeoPalace. Check here for more details.

Forgotten items left in the room.
※Please inform us the details of the item and where it was left through the『Inquiry Form』.
※Inform the apartment address, building name and room number of the apartment you left.
